Over a million acres
\nof scrub land
\nwhere freedom was the order of the day
\nvast, a sky of truly huge
\nproportions
\nsweeps across the land
\nnow come what may<\/p>\n
and on this land are herds
\nof handsome mustangs
\nwild horses living where
\nthey’ve always been
\nwhere they were born
\nthey forage and they
\nare completely free
\nand very much part of this
\nwondrous scene<\/p>\n
The BLM though
\nhas a lot of pressure
\nand clearly feels the
\npressure and allows
\nthe ranchers and the
\nvery powerful land owners
\nto get rid of the horses
\nso that cows<\/p>\n
can graze and be
\nupon the land
\nits money, the C word
\nyea corruption just a few
\nleaning on the people who should
\nreally remain strong
\nbut the voiceless get the nudge
\nas oft they do<\/p>\n
and so the contract
\ncowboys come and round them up
\nhelicopters buzzing in the sky
\nfrightening and chasing the wild
\nhorses their slashing blades
\ncreate their will to fly<\/p>\n
and so the mustangs are
\nled to the
\ncorrals and afterwards
\ninto the waiting trucks
\nto be carted off to somewhere
\nout of people gaze
\nand like the local people
\nwell it SUCKS!<\/p>\n
For centuries these wild
\nsouls have been living there
\nScience once again is called to task
\nactually its money, I know its rather funny
\nhow money seems to be there when they ask
\nbut the Mustangs get the pressure
\nand end up in some farm
\nclearly not wild any more
\nand some subject to harm<\/p>\n
the tax payers
\nstomp up some dosh
\nwhich the richer ranchers
\nget
\nmoney from the government
\nto look after them
\nits set
\nin stone the peoples money
\ngoes round and round and does
\nnot really help the Mustangs
