Pilton lights up the night sky
\nAuric flame
\nA crackling plea
\nOnce again, a fresh claim
\nOn Glastonbury
\nThat magickal town
\nWith its witches and wizards
\nAnd historical gown<\/p>\n
That sits over yonder
\nSleeping perhaps
\nAs the worlds music lovers
\nPerhaps under wraps
\nDescend as the darkness
\nCreeps over the sky
\nAnd the fireworks breakout
\nA great joy to the eye<\/p>\n
The crackling flashes
\nTake us back to a time
\nWhen as spirited youngsters
\nWe together did climb
\nTo the hill overlooking the
\nBonfire below
\nAs the rockets fired skywards
\nand we all did go
\nInto the heavens to share Where they flew
\nTo imagine the great star lit
\nWonders anew<\/p>\n
Watching in awe as the cell phone lights
