In the candle flame
\nI glimpsed her
\nshe, no apparition
\njust a purple goddess
\non a secret mission
\nclearly she was everything
\na mortal could take in
\ndancing really
\nso rhythmically
\nand each tiny spin
\ndiadems were sparkling
\nher flame did
\noverwhelm
\nI had witnessed
\nher embrace
\nfrom some other realm
\nlinked with the ethereal
\nbeyond reality
\nsomehow she was in
\nmy eyes
\na kind of sweet duality<\/p>\n

Every thought thereafter
\nwas
\none of certain chance
\nthe flame in her did flicker
\nthe goddess she did dance
\nher eyes, of course were burning
\nand I transfixed
\nand lost
\nmy senses on the line alas
\nfor the kisses that she tossed
\nin the candle flame
\nI glimpsed
\nshe no apparition
\ntresses of the rainbow kind
\na one off premonition ?<\/p>\n

a love sick fool now wanders
\nsort of aimlessly
\nbreathing in the
\nperfume of her soul
\ntortured by the waves
\nthat press my psyche
\nmy heart now aching
\nso out of control
\nIn the candle flame
\nI glimpsed her
\nshe no apparition
\njust a purple goddess
\nseeking my permission
\nto be part, of my aching heart
\na mortal in a sweat
\ntoo close to the candle flame
\npart of the hot dance set
\nwaxing now so lyrically
\nher ardour so intense
\nshe had reached my inner
\nrealms
\ncompletely without sense
\nstruggling to understand
\nwhat now, should I do
\nwrapped up in her melody
\nand wanting to dance too
\ngyrations of the sensual kind
\nsprung from my inner core
\nburning up and loving it
\nlike nobody before
\nher flames now burn
\ninside of me
\nthere’s nothing I can do
\nbut feel her every movement
\nand love her all life through
\nAutumn is upon us
\nthe nights are drawing nigh
\nHow long have I got dear lord
\nBefore I close each eye
\nand feel my breath subsiding
\nher touch I dare say I
\ncannot feel
\nI now reveal
\nI just, want to lie<\/p>\n
