\nnever wore any socks
\nhe carried his 2 wooden swords
\nhe helped any damsel
\nhe found in distress
\nwhich he kept in his belt
\non his cords
\nhe loved corduoroy
\nit was thick
\nand was warm
\nand repelled rain and
\nsnow so I hear
\nSir Lancelot Fox
\nnever wore any socks
\nbut loved this young gal from
\nround here<\/p>\n

I saw her once
\na raven haired goddess
\nwith plaits of pure gold
\nin her hair
\ntresses of silver
\ndresses of red
\nthere was no one on earth
\ngave more cheer
\nshe had a big smile
\nto see her for a while
\nyour legs went to jelly for she
\nwas not just a genuine goddess
\nbut a beautiful soul
\nwild and free<\/p>\n

Sir Lancelot Fox
\nnever wore any socks
\nbut his swords were of stout
\noak, and green
\nhe rode on the back
\nof a donkey called jack
\nwho ate tofu with margarine
\nyes that old donkey
\nwas strange I agree
\nbut loved Lancelot very much
\nSir Lancelot Fox
\ndidn’t wear any socks
\nand was typically
\nso out of touch<\/p>\n

His goddess had eyes
\nof a wonderful size
\nand an intellect and lips of red
\nshe had a sweet bijou
\nout in the garden
\nbut some people called it a shed
\nBut Lancelot Fox
\ndidn’t wear any socks
\nhe loved her
\ntoo much for all that
\nwith his 2 wooden swords
\nand his colourful cords
\neveryone called him a pratt<\/p>\n

But he didn’t care
\nfor the love he did share
\nwas all that he wanted for she
\nhis goddess she told him
\nthat her love for him
\nwas as deep as ocean could be
\nhis legs now were no longer jelly
\nhis heart beat was loud as a drum
\nthat goddess who lived in the mill
\nover yonder
\nhad soon got him under her thumb<\/p>\n

He’d do anything for his sweet damsel
\nlove like this don’t grow on trees
\nmaybe his legs had not turned to jelly
\nbut sadly he had swollen knees
\nall the washing up yes every cup
\nhe washed them by hand in the sink
