We know that wolves change habitats
\nIf predators are killed
\nMore of their prey is around each day
\nAnd no matter then how skilled
\nWe are as environmentalists
\nAnd photographers we will see
\nGreat changes in the environment
\nHappening negatively<\/p>\n
The evolution process is changing all the time
\nWe are not the hunter gatherers
\nWe were before our climb
\nOut of the subsistence crowd
\nThat hunted minimally
\nAnd so our times are changing
\nAs we grow effectively<\/p>\n
Out in British Columbia
\nDuring the salmon run
\nWe have seen the grizzlies gorging
\nBut now wolves too
\nHave fun
\nWe note they only eat the heads
\nAnd leave the rest to rot
\nOr get eaten by the scavengers
\nThat like salmon a lot<\/p>\n
The wolves are very canny
\nThey understood that they
\nThe salmon has a parasite
\nA tape worm that would prey
\nOn them
\nIts in the body of the salmon
\nNot the head
\nAnd so the wolves eat salmon head
\nAnd all do seem well fed<\/p>\n
The remnants then are discarded
\nAnd the contents probably
\nRot down where the fish are left
\nAs compost for the tree
\nTree cover where this happens
\nAccelerates the height
\nAnd first nation people have realised
\nBut we lack their forsight<\/p>\n
According to our science bods
\nWhat they say is we
\nIn 50 million years or so
\nA new soul will swim free
\nA sea wolf seal or walrus
\nOr even a killer whale
\nExisting in the ocean
\nOn its evolutionary trail
\nIts all part of the evolutionary gamble
\nEverything is connected and we should
\nRealise and look and learn of GAIA
\nNot hunt and kill, our selfishness it could<\/p>\n
Change the face of habitats forever
\nWhat supposed to be wont be because
\nMan is about ego no halo anymore
\nHe wants to kill for the sake of it
\nBut doesnt know what for
\nHis brain does not work that way
\nOr that far thus alas
\nWe all could be much more advanced
\nIf hunters wern’t so crass<\/p>\n
Leave predation to the predators
\nLeave killing of the prey
\nTo predation not to hunters
\nWho will never have the way for all
\nTo see beyond their guts their ego’s and their brain
\nPsychopaths thats all they are
\nReal close to the insane<\/p>\n
As the bears that eat the salmon
\nWhat we often see
\nis tape worms
\nHanging frim their backsides
\nAnd wriggling terribly
\nBears infact soon hibernate
\nFor six months on the trot
\nAnd eating nothing the tape worms
\nThey simply just rot<\/p>\n
NAture has all the answers
\nMan has very few
\nHunters are regenerates
\nWho take the selfish view
\nThey are just part of a movement
