A powerful kind of critter
\nLikened to a machine
\n30pounds of muscle
\nKnown as the wolverine
\nA great survivability
\nWith endurance and such grit
\nLoves the Northern Wilderness
\nFor me they are a hit<\/p>\n
Supremely wild and mystical
\nA phantom in the snow
\nVigorous and mighty
\nA weasel that does grow
\nMighty and real genuine
\nWith a lot of attitude
\nReally loves the winter
\nWith a bite thats very crude<\/p>\n
Guts so often full of bones
\nAs any guts around today
\nThey crush and swallow anything
\nThat just gets in their way
\nAn avalanche may take a goat
\nOr even a great big moose
\nBut these tearaways
\nWill consume them
\nAnd turn them into juice<\/p>\n
Created from a rugged block
\nWith bags of real resolve
\nRed blooded and abled
\nThings seem to revolve
\nAround their quest for action
\nBrawny wirey brave
\nThey reign supreme
\nAnd are just so mean
\nTumblers that save<\/p>\n
Themselves they run like crazy
\nFur draped everywhere
\nFantastic insulation
\nThey are so aware
\nOf being in the now
\nWhen winds are savage in the sky
\nBlowing like the clappers
\nThese critters watch them fly<\/p>\n
Up a snowy incline
\nA capacity
\nTo chase down any creature
\nIf they are hungry
\nNothing stands an earthly
\nTheir bio-energy
\nIs forceful and compulsive
\nAnd unassailable they be<\/p>\n
From Alaska to SIberia
\nThe gauntlet they do run
\nThey are just amazing animals
\nWhen the day is done
\nNothing really frightens them
\nNot even the grizzly who
\nWould probably run the other way
\nThan take on one or two<\/p>\n
They love the rocky reaches
\nIts where they are trapped for fur
\nIn the bleakest vistas
\nSomeone might see a star
\nPerformers really motoring
\nThrough the ice and snow
\nWith all the fizz and wonder
\nAnd all the natural glow<\/p>\n
A neanderthal among souls
\nAn executioner
\nClimbing jumping crudely pumping
\nPhantoms as they were
\nThe open space and wide terrain
\nAt 20 miles per day
\nRunning like they never want to stop
\nThey are away<\/p>\n
Ahead of any other
\nAnd constant when you see
\nThey know where the deep den sites are
\nFor its where they like to be
\nThe freedom of existence
\nFrom the summit to the low
\nGun brushes put on camera poles
\nTo help record and know
\nWhere the woolly wolverines are
\nAnd where they go
\nAnd how brave they are at killing
\nAnd just where they might show<\/p>\n
