The wildness personifies
\nNature’s true meaning
\nThe immortal Atlantic
\nIts battle supreme
\nIreland stands strong
\nHolding back the great giant
\nIts cliffs rising purposefully
\nAnd they do seem<\/p>\n
To Honour this emerald isle
\nAnd its elements
\nThrown up in an undying spirit they be
\nThe people are bursting with stories
\nAnd jollity
\nWelcoming artists and poets
\nTo free<\/p>\n
Themselves of the taxes
\nthat burden so many
\nThe music of Ireland
\nis heartfelt and sound
\nThe whiskey of Ireland
\nis very romantic
\nThe great cliffs the shamrocks
\nIs where I be bound<\/p>\n
Come step up and dance
\nwith the fiddles a firing
\nA big bowl of stew
\nand some stout in your hand
\nMusic is everywhere
\nsinging has got to be
\nthe greatest calling
\none gets from the land<\/p>\n
The mists surely happen
\nthe Leprechaun’s too
\nThe cliffs rise to heaven
\nwhere the spirit dew
\nSoaks into hearts
\nwhere the wildness performs
\nWith the brush and the pen
\nand the myriad storms<\/p>\n
Come hither to awaken
\nthose irish who fly
\nWho knock back the poitin
\nwith a glint in their eye
\nDancing a jig
\nand panting a way
\nTo the cliff tops at Moher
\nand the Atlantic spray<\/p>\n
The puffins they waddle
\nThe Shearwaters they
\nThe sea birds that rise
\nAnd they fall with the spray
\nThe giants those hump backs
\nTail flipping they be
\nEnjoying their play
\nWith the dolphins all free<\/p>\n
You can feel the energy
\nIts everywhere
\nIts springs from the ocean
\nUp into the air
\nIts in every backbone
\nIts in every heart
\nThe life’s blood of Ireland
\nYou feel from the start<\/p>\n
Take in the green
\nLet the poets words flow
\nIts an island to love
\nWith a love that doth grow
\nOriginal thought
\nAnd creative as hell
\nAnd an eccentricity
\nNot hard to sell<\/p>\n
The music it gets to me
\nDown in my soul
\nWhether you are rowing
\nOr taking a stroll
\nOn the cliffs looking over
\nThe Atlantic who
\nis telling her stories
\nTo people like you<\/p>\n
Its an island of splendour
\nAnd wonderment too
\nSmall by some standards
\nBut honest and true
\nTo itself with an aura
\nOf verdure within
