AFter the migration
\nOf the Mara river we
\nSaw many many bodies floating
\nSome precariously
\nBloated rapidly spoiling
\nGetting caught on rocks
\nFly blown full of maggots
\nSmelling like the pox<\/p>\n
The stench soon filled the air
\nClearly a health hazard
\nThat the crocodiles could share<\/p>\n
As the bodies flowed down stream
\nThey were everywhere and it did seem
\nThe Hippo’s resting in their lair
\nThought all this was most unfair<\/p>\n
the bodies they collected
\nAnd stacked them and there they be
\nPerhaps a hundred wildebeest
\nBroken limbs stacked high
\nFor crocodiles to service
\nAnd vultures to apply
\nAnd all the while the HIPPO’s
\nWho are veggies anyway
\nCould keep their water free from blood and snot
\nAnd out of the way
\nOf all these rancid bodies
\nSuppurating in the sun
\nIts clear the Hippo’s hated it
