From a forest in France
\nChartreuse can be seen
\nA greenness and verdancy
\nShe is the queen
\nOf the Fae so they say
\nA lady most fair
\nThe most profound of spirits
\nThat ever was there<\/p>\n
One midsummers morning
\nThe green goddess she
\nWas part of a what is known as an alchemy
\nShe lived in a convent
\nDown by a stream
\nSpinning the dandelion flowers
\nIt would seem
\nInto a fabric of sunlight and gold
\nWhich the king of the fae
\nHad apparently sold<\/p>\n
There was never more finer a cloth to be sewn
\nShe the keeper of light
\nAnd all she did own
\nWas weaved into the fabric
\nThe magic was there
\nThe dandelion clock told the time
\nAnd aware<\/p>\n
Of the message, she went to the forest that day
\nA vision of beauty in every way
\nTippy toed over a sparkling stream
\nAnd Fell head down a well all that way
\nIt would seem<\/p>\n
And at the bottom a little green fawn
\nAn angel in fact who wasn’t long born
\nShe exclaimed to the goddess why she was there
\nAnd how how she just flew up into the air
\nThe goddess replied the reason my dear
\nIs you are a fae fawn and it seems clear
\nAnd I am your queen then its good you are here
\nFor it must be meant kiss me now let us see
\nIf you are the lost prince that i have to free<\/p>\n
She knelt down and held him and planted a kiss
\nA great flash of light not something you’d miss
\nAnd the fawn was transformed into a tall man
\nWith eyes like the lime leaves she last saw on Pan
\nWhat is your name sir pray tell me your name
\nAnd who was the sorceror who played a game
\nWho cast that spell deciding that you
\nShould be a green fawn down a well filled with dew<\/p>\n
I know not dear queen but i am glad you were there
\nFor a fawn can be hunted to a life of despair
\nA number came by so I decided that I
\nWould jump into this well just wondering why
\nOr who would come down to me and it was you
\nThe queen of the fae herself knowing what to do
\nCome with me now lets fly said the queen to the sky
\nHold on tight we shall both be as green as can be
\nAs we fly in the sky perhaps alchemy
\nWill be our spirit the great green charteuse
