Beltaine is upon us
\nThe arctic wind is too
\nWe have had all the spring bulbs out
\nRising with the dew
\nWe saw the many dandelions
\nAdvance and go to seed
\nAnd now we see the bluebell gangs
\nAnd hear their song indeed.<\/p>\n
The light is bright and avid
\nAnd brings us leaves of green
\nThe hawthorn decked with blossoms
\nTo brighten up the scene
\nRaise the maypoles
\ndecked with ribbons
\nLets dance lets make a show
\nWhere is the green man hiding?
\nYes I want to know<\/p>\n
CEmmunos of the wild woods
\nWho comes out for Beltaine
\nBring on the morris dancers
\nLets tap our feet again
\nThe bees are going through it
\nCollapse wifi and more
\nThese pollinating angels
\nWe need to love them more<\/p>\n
The Cotswold Order will be at
\nThe Rollrights on the green
\nWith the ring of soldiers
\nWho were turned to stone
\nAnd have been
\nWaiting for our magic
\nTo turn them back again
\nThe ritual of the blossoms
\nOur melodious refrain<\/p>\n
We need some positivity
\nTo break the negative hold
\nWe need to inject some sunshine
\nAnd in its rays be rolled.
\nhold hands and love each other
\nAnd understand the worth
\nFor with our natural energy
\nWe return to planet earth<\/p>\n
The soul urge of our making
\nThe fertility of life
\nThe conjuring up of spirit
\nAnd an end to woe and strife
\nWe need the sun to smile on us
\nAnd fill our hearts with joy
\nTo peel back all those crazy clouds
\nAnd we then need to employ<\/p>\n
The tenderness of effort
\nTo await the summer’s smile
