I have little to think about

\nThe trees in the jungle

\nWas born was rewarding

In a cage far away

\nIn some medical laboratory
\nAnd that my worth
\nIs experimentation
\nOr torture to you
\nCutting me about
\nThat is what they do<\/p>\n
I look a real wreck
\nAnd I feel awful too
\nSo many wounds
\nLeft after they do
\nTheir investigations
\nIt is hard to heal
\nWhen they do not wash down
\nAnd this does reveal<\/p>\n
Horrible scars
\nand infections for me
\nI cannot sit down
\nfor my bottom you see
\nIts cut about badly
\nand its festered as well
\nThis cage is so small
\nand there is a smell<\/p>\n
Its me
\nyes I realise I am now ill
\nSo many cuts
\nhow am I living still?
\nThey squirt stuff in my eyes
\nAnd also in my ears
\nInducing in me
\nA whole shaft of tears<\/p>\n
And I sit, well more lay, on my side
\nFeeling bad
\nI dont get the painkillers
\nWhich is rather sad
\nMy wounds get infected
\nAnd thats when they smell
\nFrom the jungle I came
\nAnd have now reached their Hell<\/p>\n
I so miss my family
\nThey probably feel
\nI was eaten by something
\nI became their meal
\nAnd thats the worst feeling
\nBecause being alive
\nBeing an experiment
\nIts hard to revive
\nOneself after surgery
\nThat much I know
\nTo get back into living
\nAnd joining the flow<\/p>\n
This cage really stinks
\nIts never been cleaned
\nThe food that they throw at me
\nIt has demeaned
\nMe to the point, I dont want to go on
\nWhy dont they kill me
\nThen I’d be gone<\/p>\n
Off to the Rainbow Bridge
\nFar far away
\nAway from these sins
\nAnd this filth
\nI so pay
\nA high price for living
\nFor giving my all
\nFor some cleaning product
\nThat makes my flesh crawl.<\/p>\n
Whilst the public who buy this crap
\nDont seem to care
\nAs long as its cheap
\nThey remain unaware
\nOf the plight of us animals
\nStuck in our cage
\nSubjected to agony
\nThats off the page<\/p>\n
They go to these corporates
\nWho poison you
\nNothing on labels
\nBut they screw you too
\nAs for me and my ape friends
\nWe suffer so
\nWhat you lot should do
\nIs care more and show<\/p>\n
You care by not buying
\nThis chemical shit
\nThat I am now dying for
\nJust where I sit
\nOn an arse full of sores
\nInduced by the man
\nWith his scalpels etc
\nWho is never a fan<\/p>\n
I beg you to think
\nAnd to spend a bit more
\nOr make up your own cleaning products
\nI ‘m sure
\nWhite vinegar and baking powder
\nWould be good
\nMuch cheaper and healthier
\nAnd then you could<\/p>\n
Say two fingers to P&G
\nAnd other firms
\nWho carry on torturing us
\nWithout true terms
