Cities where ants scurry this way
\nAnd that
\nWhere vehicular poisons are where
\nWe are at
\nWhere once the sound sod and the life force
\nWe saw
\nWas concreted over and yes some more<\/p>\n
Did we live in a cave
\nOr a shelter somewhere
\nDid we live off the land
\nThat had much to spare
\nOur experimentation soon
\nGave us a way
\nOf living sustainably everyday<\/p>\n
Look at the wild animals
\nThey walk their roar
\nThey live in the wilderness
\nAnd know what life’s for
\nThey eat when they are hungry
\nThey forage a lot
\nThey drink when they are thirsty
\nAnd when they are not<\/p>\n
They sleep and they rest and they
\nAll are aware
\nTheir ears are aloft
\nTheir eyes clearly rare
\nTheir smell is far distant
\nSensitivity
\nIs part of their makeup
\nAnd why they feel free<\/p>\n
Take the indigenous people around
\nThey live close to Nature
\nWhere they have found
\nThey are safer and clearly
\nCan realise they
\nCan eke out a future
\nEvery day<\/p>\n
The language of Nature
\nIs teaching a lot
\nEach to his own
\nAlthough his senses are not
\nMore tuned in than ours,
\nIts just that they feel
\nCloser to their maker
\nThan we dare reveal<\/p>\n
Away with the wifi
\nThe cell towers where we
\nCan share the pure nature
\nCan go hug a tree
\nWhy not they are sentinels
\nOxygen makers
\nWe both need each other
\nGivers and takers<\/p>\n
They ground us
\nThey clean up our lungs
\nFor a while
\nOur eyes see new things
\nOur thoughts create guile
\nWe acknowledge the knowledge
\nOur consciousness feels
\nA growing awareness
\nWhich really reveals<\/p>\n
The feeling of feeling
\nMore energy
\nUnplugged from the digital
\nOnce again free
\nWe walk on the earth on the litter of life
\nSharing the caring and losing the strife<\/p>\n
Inmersing ourselves in the breezes that blow
\nIn the dew that may fall in the sun’s special glow
\nThe forest is generally not sprayed a lot
\nUnlike our food plants for that great toxic pot
\nWe might have been suffering
\nBut when we go
\nWhen we leave the forest
\nSomething we know<\/p>\n
We actually feel better
\nOur dogs do as well
\nThey were the excuse
\nFor many who tell
\nThat is their reason
\nFor going out to
\nThe forest to walk them
\nThough their walking too<\/p>\n
They seem to know dogs need
\nTo walk but forgot
\nThey also need to walk
\nAnd walk a lot
\nTo breathe in the fresh air
\nAnd take in the new scents
\nTo just let the muscles
\nbecome less tense<\/p>\n
Re enter the great eco system of soul
\nHear the bird song the scurrying
\nCreatures whose role
\nIs so simply defined in the forests
\nGreat face
\nWhere all of the creatures
\nIn fact know their place<\/p>\n
There are no hospitals
\nNo surgeries
\nAnimals live freely
\nAnd they can please
\nThemselves how they live their lives
\nIt is their choice
\nThey need nothing outside of the forest
\nOne voice<\/p>\n
Only their knowledge of what life’s about
\nThey live for each other
\nAnd, have no doubt
\nSome know predation
\nOthers tend to
\nEat vegetation
\nIts what they must do<\/p>\n
There is balance you can feel it
\nIts basic and pure
\nGAIA Has acknowledged
\nThe cry and the lure
\nOf the forest for all forest animals who
\nCan attain their longevity
\nwhatever we do<\/p>\n
So some cut down the trees
\nAnd some pollute the earth
\nThose committing these crimes
\nHave forgotten the worth
\nThe need for the oxygen
\nAnd for the soul
\nWhose arrogance has broken the seal
\nWhose control<\/p>\n
Was so out of kilter
\nWith nature thats true
\nWith the indigenous people
\nWho knew what to do
\nWith all of those wild souls
\nAnd the plants and the trees
\nAnd the insects and birds
\nAnd of course the dear bees<\/p>\n
Look at the cities now
\nThe air quality
\nThe water is doctored
\nNo one is free
\nChem trails are everywhere
\nAll over the sky
\nThe oceans polluted
\nOur poor guts too die<\/p>\n
Friendly bacteria
\nLies everywhere
\nDead as a dodo
\nAnd we are unaware
\nHospitals packed
\nOBAMA CARE gone
\nSuncreams and barriers
\nTo the sun that once shone<\/p>\n
What of the indigenous
\nSeen as the low folk
\nPut in reservations
\nDumbed down just a joke
\nBut they are the god souls
\nThe ancestral stream
