Evolution was built up
\nBy love for each other
\nInstinctive programming
\nBuilt in to try
\nA realization and respect
\nFor all beings
\nThe philosophy of existence
\nWell grounded and high<\/p>\n
We should coexist and endure
\nOne another
\nShare whats on offer
\nIn actual fact
\nRespect the physical
\nEssentially always
\nWith soul and with vision
\nMethods attract<\/p>\n
The human being
\nThe animal being
\nEach knows existence and
\nHistoricity
\nThat is the innate bedrock of learning
\nA real true regard
\nAnd a fait accompli<\/p>\n
Carnivores mostly
\nThe human being
\nEats animal beings
\nBelieving they be
\nPut here to give us
\nThe kind of nutrition
\nThat we humans need
\nTo remain ever free<\/p>\n
The vegetarian being
\nCreated shunned all dead flesh
\nbut required to be nursed
\nA bodily fluid designed
\nFor its offspring
\nMurdered I ask
\nWhy are some beings cursed?<\/p>\n
The vegan steps up to the plate
\nFree of corpses
\nFree of the bodily fluids
\nAs well
\nDeriving their food from the plants
\nWhich have substance
\nLife and the light forces
\nCreating that spell<\/p>\n
That mindful ambition
\nThat inner control
\nThe need for good balance
\nPinned to the whole
\nA casual divergence
\nRespect from within
\nA great inner love
\nAnd a fire for each other
\nMaking this ethos
\nOne to underpin<\/p>\n
Compassion a quality
\nAlong with empathy
\nProving each being
\nIs as are we
\nCreated with life force
\nAnd an understanding
\nOf our true relationship
\nTo longevity<\/p>\n
Each has a place
\nAnd that place we must feel
\nRespect to elect smaller places to be
\nHabitat loss the minutest kingdom
\nThe oceans so wide
\nWhere Our need is to free<\/p>\n
Ascendancy which beings
\nMove ever higher
\nTo look down on us
\nThey from afar
\nWhere is the fusion the bond
\nTo discover
\nEquals on this planet
\nYes we all are<\/p>\n
The rights of the animals
\nThey must be given
\nRespect not unlike
\nThe human young who
\nRefuse to respect the elders
\nAround them
\nBecause they are seen
\nAs dull and thus hardky true
\nThey may not be so switched on
\nTo all that is digital
\nBut may have better judgement
\nAnd reasoning too<\/p>\n
Animals apparently retain respect
\nFor their elders
\nOne sees and one can detect
\nThis basic maxim is an obvious choice
\nIts made up of experience
\nAnd does give good voice
\nTo the honest conviction
\nTo a basic composure
\nAnd to lasting relationships
\nWith much less friction<\/p>\n
They do not have a currency
\nAll that they do
\nIs truthfully what they are
\nExpected to
\nIts love for the practical
\nIts caring about
\nThe world that they live in
