A baby child a baby lamb
\nAbout the same weight
\nI think I am
\nAlready feeling
\na sense of dread
\nThat either of these
\ncould soon be dead<\/p>\n
Carnivores the majority
\nCannibals
\nthough few do we see
\nBehind closed doors
\nthe spirit kind
\nIn the cavernous depths
\nof the sicker mind<\/p>\n
Easter avails itself to be
\nA resonation of probity
\nA human baby
\na baby sheep
\nA vegan would watch
\neither sleep
\nA carnivore
\non the other hand
\nLooks at the lamb
\nAnd can’t understand<\/p>\n
Why we imagine the baby sheep
\nShould not be killed
\nWho sows shall reap
\nSpirit cooking is all the rage
\nIn the gutter and cellars
\nThe stock in trade<\/p>\n
For the sickly hordes
\nWho expect rewards
\nFrom an innocents blood
\nAnd The heavenly flood
\nSo who might die
\nIn this easter romp
\nThe lamb ofcourse
\nWith all the pomp<\/p>\n
And majesty
\nWill be roasted and
\nThe mint sauce all will understand
\nThe infant babe
\nIn certain quarters
\nMight be stewed
\nin its holy waters
\nA bloodless body drenched in wine
\nMight also die and be a sign<\/p>\n
As for spirit cooking
\nThose gruesome fiends
\nIt pushes their buttons
\nAnd the machines
\nwho stand in the spotlight
\nMaking their way
\nThrough a sordid idyll
\nOf sick decay<\/p>\n
Many observe but will not see
\nThe baby lamb Who hopes to free
\nItself of being eaten by carnivores
\nWho would not think, to walk on
\nAll fours
\nThey see the lamb as a sheep and they
\nWill expect to eat it right away.<\/p>\n
The spirit cooks have a similar thought
\nIn the rituals,bwhere they are brought
\nTo eating the innocents flesh and be
\nRewarded by longevity
\nFor me its a sickness either way
\nWhere both babies are forced to pay
\nCoerced by circumstances they
\nMust close their eyes and fly away
\nTo the rainbow bridge and the summerland
