I take issue with the FBI
\nThe director who made his point
\nBut why?
\nDenigrate these mammals who
\nDid nothing negative
\nWhich is true<\/p>\n
The indication was possibly
\nTheir investigations
\nPossibly
\nDid n9t come up to the standards
\nWe
\nImagined they should actually<\/p>\n
Under oath we heard them say
\n“Dont call us weasels” I say no way
\nShould they or anyone else
\nDecide
\nTo take these animals for a ride<\/p>\n
Derogatory remarks to me
\nShow a lack of respect
\nIndulgently
\nNot understanding a creatures worth
\nAnd why it was created on planet earth<\/p>\n
From the genus mustela
\nPOlecats Stoats
\nFerrets
\nPerhaps the star MINK coats
\nThey eat hordes of rats and mice
\nAnd killing them just isnt nice<\/p>\n
Wearing their skins
\nAs people do
\nShow their ignorance right through
\nBut drawing conclusions about a soul
\nWho we call a weasel
\nWe should extol
\ntheir virtue
\nAs the created one
\nNot imply a negative
\nWe all should shun<\/p>\n
They can venture into a chicken coop
\nBut they are wild
\nAnd if they can dupe
\nThe farmer it is afterall
\nSurvival for them they have the call<\/p>\n
I think its unfair for the FBI
\nTo call out the weasel
\nfor it isn’t right
\nHuman beings apparently
\nAre quick to connect
\nThem it seems to me<\/p>\n
Wholly unfair passed off
\nAnd lost
\nBut wild mammals suffer
\nThe ultimate cost
\nOf ignorance stated
\nBy intelligent men
\nMy question to them is who and when?<\/p>\n
Did a mammal have to take the blame
\nFor what is in fact some political game
\nWhat have they done to deserve that place
