Perceptivity and awareness
\nThe aestetics of a cause
\nThe sensation and impression
\nIts bound to make one pause
\nBeing sentient and sensitive
\nTo pain and tenderness
\nTo wake up to one’s senses
\nAnd try hard not to stress<\/p>\n
There is no analgesia
\nAnd no unconsciousness
\nIt clearly will be painful
\nThe threshold might be less
\nAm i feeling anguish
\nIs my consideration sound
\nAnd will I be satisfied
\nWith the cost some two hundred pound<\/p>\n
It did seem quite a good idea
\nBut then again if I
\nDon’t like it when its finished
\nIt will be too late
\nI sigh, thinking hard about it all
\nNow covering my back
\nI have made myself a tapestry
\nOpen to some flack<\/p>\n
I will have to live with it
\nIn all probability
\nIt will now set me apart
\nFrom others that now be
\nMy friends and will I show them
\nDeep down i don’t want to
\nThats because i feel uncertain
\nOf knowing what to do<\/p>\n
Yes its my dllemma
\nThere is never a guarantee
\nI am undecided how to play it actually
\nReally its unlikely that i will ever share
\nMy tattoo’s with now anybody
\nWhether I would dare<\/p>\n
Its a sort of reservation
\nConcealing in a way
\nWhats obvious its groundless
\nAnd fills me with dismay
\nMoralizing over it
\nAs the saying goes
\nManifesting candour
\nWhich kind of in me grows<\/p>\n
Its a kind of underlying fear
\nOf rejection in a way
\nIt thwarts some of my thinking
\nJust imagine you could say
\nI am never one for stripping off
\nHistrionics isnt me
\nI just feel sad about my size
\nAnd if other people see<\/p>\n
But then again i am emboldened
\nWith artistry in ink
\nThere is a certain transparency
\nNow in the way I think
\nA forcefulness a spirit
\nA positive display
\nI am cogent and compelling
