In the wintry months
\nThe need is there
\nFor the wild birds to take flight
\nThe Kingfishers they stay here
\nAnd it isnt always bright
\nThe rivers do get murky
\nFrozen over thats the test
\nThats when they have to seize the chance

Its about self existence
\nTo motivate and fly
\nHistoricity will remind them
\nThey can easily die
\nThey have to eat least
\nHalf of their body weight each day
\nAnd that can really test their skills

The brutal facts are out there
\nWhat theu have to do
\nIs fly off to the sea side
\nTo RAmsagte yea its true
\nWhere the sea and harbour is
\nGo and catch their meal

The rock pools are abundant
\nWith shrimp and crabs galore
\nScratcing in the sand they are

\nTheir judgement has to be
\nTop knotch when they dive
\nThey really have to see

They really need to cogitate
\nIts telepathy
\nThey see the water quiver
\nAnd the leap must generally

\nIs a regular store
\nOf goodies a real bounty
\nAnd theres more and more
\nIn the surf the fresh shrimps ply
\nThere is reasoning to make the trip
