\npicking out what “Tiddles” likes
\nbut “Tiddles,” she does know
\nthat what she’s given
\ntastes al’right
\nbut makes her weak, and she
\nprefers the chicken livers
\nor the remnants of mum’s tea
\nall these pretty pictures
\nthat the corporates apply
\nfrom 1% to 4% of Turkey
\nisn’t high
\nthe rest is called
\nderivatives
\ndo you think that sounds
\nsublime
\nheads feet, guts
\nthe cheapest sources
\nhardly worth a rhyme

\nso “Tiddles” gets 100% meat
\nor fish, and she
\nwill blossom better on that food
\nthan the 1% we see
\nor the 4% for the rest

\nwhere it comes from, we
\nreally haven’t got a clue
\nits really hard to be
\nits derived from God knows where
\nunless each batch is analysed
\nnobody’s aware
\naccept of course your loved one’s

\nhow really unacceptable it is
