SIlbury Hill, The Sanctuary
\nTHe Avenue The Barrows
\nElves and wooden dingles
\nCopses through the narrows
\nYou can feel the tingling
\nRunning down your spine
\nEvery inch begins to ache
\nBut The sky scapes
\nAre divine<\/p>\n
It all fascinating
\nThe burial places here
\nThe dolmens and the caverns
\nAlignments just appear
\nLots of old engravings
\nMade by men of long ago
\nOr could they have come from outer space?
\nNo one does really know<\/p>\n
I remember the swamp road
\nWhen the sat nav lost its position
\nAnd I drove into hell and back
\nOn a solid mission
\nWith a good friend by my side
\nAnd an owl or two around
\nHaving to reverse through all that mud
\nKnowing we could have drowned<\/p>\n
Will stay with me forever
\nBrushed off by my dear friend
\nWho actually i felt for
\nAnd the messages she did send
