At back block and fringes
\nOf Phnom Penh in Cambodia today
\nDOgs are on the menu
\nSadly I have to say
\nIts borders are with Thailand
\nLAos and Viet Nam
\nEaten as ancient medicine
\nWhere various places cram<\/p>\n
40 to 80 dogs a day
\nIts torture for some
\nWho have their feet cut off their legs
\nThe pain of that is some
\nVile abomination
\nThat diners do believe
\nBy eating living dogs feet
\nHealing doth relieve<\/p>\n
Wounds within their bodies
\nAnd then dog dishes will
\nCreate in them some strengthening
\nCulturally will instil
\nIn them some honest healing
\nThis is what they say
\nAnd Marc Ching discovered
\nSome victims
\nOn his victims the other day<\/p>\n
Seeing these poor animals
\nLanguishing in pain
\nKnowing that they would
\nPerish before the mornings rain
\nDetached now from reality
\nExpecting the worst
\nHearing the noisy diners
\nAnd feeling completely cursed<\/p>\n
Coconut dog curry
\nDog meat sour soup too
\nWith red ants a speciality
\nFlame grilled dog
\nI am through
\nWith all this ugly evil
\nAnd leaving dogs in pain
\nBleeding waiting hating
\nTheir lives now all in vain<\/p>\n
This area is iniquitous
\nTo what is eaten by
\nThe people Laos and Thailand
\nAnd VIetnam all high
\nConsumers of dogs and wild animals
\nIts how the people feel
\nTo me they are deranged I think
\nAnd they never could appeal<\/p>\n
To me, thank goodness Marc CHing
\nWas on hand to take away
\nThe two dogs that were living still
\nAnd who wouldnt have to pay
\nWith their lives, he would save them
\nFrom certain Agony
\nThe others all would be eaten
