HAinin a small island off of China
\nAnd there a cat meat restaurant
\nAnd we see
\nA cage of victims waiting to be
\nButchered
\nTreated with a relentless savagery<\/p>\n
They look up to your eyes
\nGreat amber bubbles
\nTenderness and yielding
\nFrom their soul
\nOne still has a dainty little collar
\nA stolen pet
\nNow caged up in this hole<\/p>\n
Subjected to the bondage of the many
\nDisadvantaged and oppressed and seemingly
\nWaiting for a customer to choose
\nA particular animal
\nCorralled and then tortured
\nAvidly<\/p>\n
Who can choose
\nTheir eyes beseechingly turned
\nUpon the customer
\nHopeful they will get a guarantee
\nOf going home and be a pet
\nBut clearly taken to the pot
\nBoiled alive the end comes rapidly<\/p>\n
Approaching life lost really in a moment
\nAll that bubbling broth and little pain
\nThe martyrdom of eternal damnation
\nThe diner is delighted once again
\nSpitting out the bones
\nHe seems enraptured
\nNo remorse no pangs of conscience here
\nGulping back the hot sauce
\nChewing both its eyes
\nJust moments ago a beautiful little kitten
\nlooking up with genuine surprise<\/p>\n
It makes me very angry
\nTo imagine
\nSomeones pet cat boiled up in a stew
\nLife stolen in what was the briefest moment
\nA boiling roll a rampageous view
\nDead eyes looking upwards to the heavens
\nReally an intolerablly thick brew<\/p>\n
Cat restaurants are widespread
\nDogs too are seemingly
\nSuch callousness apparently
\nBeyond
\nThe urge of western people
\nWho chomp upon their bacon
\nTheir spare ribs and their neck of lamb
\nSo fond
\nOf eating animals and lots of others
\nWho come to be as living souls but they
\nReceive the wrath of the carivore extraordinary
