Pachyderms were never meant to climb
\nOn tiny stools
\nCircus is an evil place
\nWhere an audience of fools
\nImagines that wild elephants
\nWould leave their asian home
\nTo be chained up in a trailer
\nAnd not be allowed to roam<\/p>\n
It does beggar belief
\nThat human beings are that dumb
\nAnd the Universoul Circus
\nNow does provide some
\nLeased they are from other places
\nAnd clearly showing signs
\nOf anxiety and mental stress
\nAnd all of this combines<\/p>\n
With lack of air and exercise
\nAnd noise and dust and pain
\nClearly bullhooks are being used
\nAnd wonder dust to gain
\nSome semblance of less injury
\nBut to anyone who knows
\nWatching animals bobbing
\nAnd swaying it does pose<\/p>\n
Problems it is clear these gIants
\nWould not choose this life
\nBeing on parade like this and motionless
\nMeans strife
\nIs obvious their legs and feet
\nSuffer they are designed
\nTo walk not stand there swaying
\nAnd going out of their mind<\/p>\n
Circus is not for animals
\nIt makes no sense at all
\nIt may draw crowds of people
\nWho don’t think there was a school
\nOf thought to say it is cruelty
\nIn their tiny minds
\nAnd the animals that kill their trainers
\nThats when they draw the blinds<\/p>\n
Go back some years to SHRINE Circus
\nAnother soul called BO
\nOut of PEnnsylvania who was bullhooked
\nAnd did show
\nAggression to his trainer
\nKilled him actually
\nWhich was called a workplace accident
\nBut its down to cruelty<\/p>\n
These giants they are patient souls
\nAnyone could be
\nFull of angst and utter stress
\nAnd snap we all can see
\nIt happening and then so often
\nThe elephant is killed
\nLike TYKE she blew a gasket
\nAnd of course her blood was spilled<\/p>\n
CIRCUS is passed its sell by date
\nAnimals should never be
\nHoled up in these trailers
\nIn chains no one should see
\nThese giants in a circus ring
\nOne hopes that one day we
\nwill see these shows shut down for good
