A cellist in a public square
\nA black bow tie
\nJust a few souls there<\/p>\n
A pot upon the pavement and
\nA child comes up
\ncash in her hand<\/p>\n
Put some money in his pot
\nAnd he starts to play
\nAnd then a lot <\/p>\n
of people come
\nAnd stand around
\nListening to the lovely sound<\/p>\n
Then different people violins
\nA bassoon a viola
\nand doublechins<\/p>\n
Are twanging away
\nand before we know
\n30 or 40 are part of the show<\/p>\n
More and more people come to see
\nWith An Expectation now there be<\/p>\n
Clearly wanting a happy event
\nAnd getting it free
\nit was all well meant<\/p>\n
Beautiful music lifted away
\nBrightened the street scene
\nOn that day<\/p>\n
All sorts of people came around
\nTo listen to the delightful sound<\/p>\n
A choir as well such a display
\nAnd all for free on this Saturday<\/p>\n
Young and old sat and stood
\nOne climbed up a lamp post
\nSo he could<\/p>\n
Get a better view of the orchestra
\nAnd the lovely music that sailed afar<\/p>\n
Its known as a flash mob
\nI understand
\nAnd everyone there thought it
