A being has been created
\nAs valuable as any
\nA miracle has happened
\nOf course we see so many<\/p>\n
The bedrock of existence
\nImmortal for a while
\nPhenomenal in so many ways
\nA number and a file<\/p>\n
In some corporate office
\nAn identity of sorts
\nSomebody’s relation
\nIn somebody’s thoughts<\/p>\n
A child grows ever upwards
\nDevelops and proceeds
\nCritical and crucial
\nWhere his life now leads<\/p>\n
Where all this has happened
\nReally who dare say
\nWhIch path he might follow
\nOn any given day<\/p>\n
He may don that uniform
\nAnd be issued with his gun
\nAnd be asked to fight the enemy
\nOut there in the sun<\/p>\n
He may not have ever thought
\nAbout his enemy before
\nBut now he has reached
\nThe theatre
\nThe theatre of war<\/p>\n
He was sad to leave his mother
\nWhom he loved so very much
\nWhoever the enemy was he thought
\nPerhaps their mothers touch
\nWas precious to them too
\nHe began to wonder why he was there
\nAnd wondered if the enemy
\nSimilarly did share<\/p>\n
These thoughts or were they gung ho
\nCouldnt wait to kill
\nWhilst he was thinking about all this
\nA sound it was kind of shrill
\nHe remembered feeling very sick
\nAnd he was looking at the sky
\nClearly he wouldn’t see his mother
\nFor his eyes closed he did die<\/p>\n
We ask what was creation doing
\nWhy was it that he
\nWas sent into a battle
\nWhere he should never be<\/p>\n
War is really pointless for the soldiers
\nIn the field
\nIts All to do with money
\nAnd arms sales that can yield
\nHuge amounts of profit
\nFor the fat cats and the banks
\nWho make a lot of money
\nPutting soldiers into tanks<\/p>\n
