The jungle and the forests
\nAround the world are seeing
\nMajor deforestation
\nAnd its down to the human being
\nWhose life has become disordered
\nUp against great GAIA she
\nIs suffering from the vagaries
\nOf the corporate who see<\/p>\n
A future by creating
\nDestruction everywhere
\nPalm oil fracking gas and oil
\nConstruction and despair
\nFor many of the world’s wild animals
\nWhose habitat is lost
\nEverywhere you look these days
\nThe planets single cost<\/p>\n
Is causing such disharmony
\nIts chaos everywhere
\nTake Laos for example
\nCHina thinks its fair
\nTo buy up vast stretches of land
\nOf jungle everywhere
\nAnd tear it down and in its place
\nPut casino’s of despair
\nGiant hotel complexes
\nGlass and concrete takes
\nThe place of the wild jungles
\nAnd hearts of ours it breaks<\/p>\n
Animals lose their lives
\nTo JCB’s and huge great cranes
\nYou cannot replace rhe magic of a forest
\nAll the gains
\nOf centuries of medicinal plants
\nAnd so many secrets there
\nAnd all the wild creatures
\nAgain that once did share<\/p>\n
Elephants and tapirs, cats and reptiles who
\nHave lived inside these forests for ages
\nAnd they do
\nProvide for all the animals
\nThat live and work and play
\nAnd once we have taken the trees all down
\nThere is nothing more to say<\/p>\n
100 sq kilometres of forest lost and gone
\nThe infra structure must be built
\nThe countryside will suffer once shone
\nWith every light circe imaginable
\nAnd now what do we see
\nAnd unenviabke congestion
