Animals whatever have a right to life
\nIt seems to me the wolf and others
\nBut the wolf has seen such strife
\nPersecuted vehemently
\nRuthlessly lets say
\nHas been subject to such ignorance
\nAll along the way<\/p>\n
Overwhelmed by arrogance
\nAnd criminality
\nDowntrodden for just being
\nAlive if you ask me
\nOppressed for being a predator
\nTreated like dirt by some
\nGiven no leg to stand on
\nAnd that just makes me glum<\/p>\n
That we can get away with this
\nIts a fiction if you will
\nA Pack animal who works its butts off
\nSubjugated still
\nLied about for certain
\nDespite their willingness
\nTo occupy their place of birth
\nAnd really never mess<\/p>\n
With the human fraternity
\nSo why the prejudice there
\nFiction writes them into grief
\nFrom our childhood their despair
\nIs evident they suffer for the ignorance of man
\nWho has always disadvantaged them
\nWho was never their fan<\/p>\n
They were born of liberation
\nTheir catharsis was to be
\nThoroughly emancipated
\nWhich produced a policy
\nOf certain discrimination
\nWe applied our invisible chain
\nWe made sure they were suspects
\nAnd did try to restrain<\/p>\n
Their movements and their philosophy
\nWe coerced them at will
\nInhibited them whenever
\nTheir blood to we did spill
\nAuthorising hunters to slaughter them and trap
\nPlaced them under curfew
\nAnd talked up so much crap<\/p>\n
About them which was most unfair
\nWe hampered their display
\nWe let people machine gun them
\nFrom the air the wolves did pay
\nA high price for creations wish
\nTo unharness their desire
\nTo be what creation wanted
\nKeepers of the fire<\/p>\n
The fire that regulated
\nPrey animals and as such
\nDesigned the environment adequately
\nFor as such they were in touch
\nThey lived in the now and in the flow
\nAnd never abandoned their goals
\nYet ruthlessly we have neglected them
