The wetlands in South EAst Thailand
\nAre a myriad of calm
\nWith great sxpanse of lotus
\nComes to little harm
\nBeautiful red frilly trumpets
\nMusic to our ears
\nA wealth of lily pad stepping stones
\nAnd a wonderland that appears<\/p>\n
Before the eyes of many
\nWhere the purple swamp hens trail
\nLooking for their favourite food
\nThe golden apple snail
\nNot indigenous to thailand
\nBut a favourite anyway
\nAnd this bird gets ecstatic
\nIf it find a few each day<\/p>\n
Its kearned to be sure footed
\nIts weight can drag it down
\nThe lily pads are fairy fragile
\nAnd when they go to town
\nStriding very confidentally
\nSome times they fall through
\nThey use theur rather long toes
\nLike hand thats what they do<\/p>\n
Every creature on this earth
\nHas a place and we
\nMust understand its critical
\nWe safeguard all to see
\nThe total equilibrium maintained
\nIn every way
\nFor Nature is our Mother
\nWho has a lot to say<\/p>\n
And we must keep our eyes open
\nAnd our ears as well
\nAnd when walking in the forests
\nOr on the wetlands we must tell
\nAnd Realise the importance in everything
\nWIll you
\nProtect and care for every soul
