The Japanese push science
\nPainting research on their ships
\nAnd harpooning the precious whales
\nOn their living trips
\nThrough the Southern Ocean
\nWhere Australia should be
\nPutting in an appearence
\nBut its not something we see<\/p>\n
At the IWC they are adament
\nWhaling should be banned
\nHiding behind the science label
\nWhere arrogance has fanned
\nThe flames and such emotion
\nWhere its burning like the sun
\nOnly sea shepherd is standing guard
\nWhen the day is done<\/p>\n
Out there where the blood runs cold
\nWhere harpoons and whales explode
\nWhere ruptured giants face the wrath
\nOn that frightening road
\nWhere a whaling ships and their masters
\nAre lying all the way
\nFrom Japan to murdering minke whales
\nFor consumption Whatever they say<\/p>\n
And out of FUKUSHIMA radio activity
\nWashes into the Pacific this dire activity
\nSpreading every which way
\nIn what are terror sweeps
\nSo much intimidation
\nThat even creation weeps<\/p>\n
The so called technology
\nThe sword of Damocles
\nShitting bricks of cesium
\nNothing can appease
\nThe victims of the ocean
\nSelf reliant who
\nAlso contend with the Japanese
\nAnd their lowly crew<\/p>\n
AUstralia can somehow hide its head
\nAnd carry on
\nVery good at mouthing thoughts
\nBut up against it……. gone
\nNo where near the whalers
\nThats left to those who care
\nThe angels of the ocean
\nSEa Shepherd who are there<\/p>\n
A blaze of glory follows them
\nVegan volunteers
\nEach wears their own halo
\nWith their courage And their tears
\nIn the forefront all commanding
\nThe ardour snd the care
\nWith reverence and honour
\nOf simply being there<\/p>\n
Humbled by the task ahead
\nProtectors of the sea
\nThe skull and cross bones
\nOn their flag
\nWhere they have to be
\nModest self effacing
\nBut pirates of the soul
\nWho are the true blown heroes
\nOut there wild and free<\/p>\n
Where is the Australian Government
\nPaying lip service they
\nQuietly see BROOME’s sistership
\nAnd Look the other way
\nThe antipathy that Japan causes
\nBy its infamy
\nRemaining aloof and malevolent
\nTo the great whales of the sea<\/p>\n
They really are a hostile bunch
\nIncompatible to all
\nAggressive and belligerent
\nThey like to build a wall
\nWhere nobody can see their antics
\nThe massive bloodloss they
