In many ways man’s processes
\njust sicken me
\ninventive
\nhe’s inventive
\nthat’s for sure
\nbut the abyss to which
\nhe stoops
\nto do his bidding
\nkind of leaves me

for the animal earthling’s
\ndo not escape, him sadly
\nits not just on their flesh and fat

\nits also skin, the horns
\nthe hooves and bones, what can we do

\norgans, and of course those intestines
\nfrom cows, sheep, pigs and horses
\nand even dead cows spleens
\nand its all cooked up
\nand processed
\nin their wonderful machines<\/p>\n
reduced down to a dust,
\nor made up into flakes
\nwasting all that energy
\nfor that is all it takes
\nand dollops of this disgusting stuff
\nare boiled up in some pot
\ncoloured with an azo dye
\nand flavoured, so we’ve got
\nJelly for the little one’s
\nit wobbles on their plate
\nwe throw a great big party
\nas devils incarnate
\nwe then add refined sugar
\nah! that’s the stuff of dreams
\nand kill a calf and steal the cream
\nNo nothings, what it seems<\/p>\n
then used, to clarify our wine
\nour apple and grape juice
\nput into marshmallows
\nthey cook the golden goose!
\nyoghurts, trifles, aspics
\njams and margarine
\ncream cheeses, used in fat reduced foods
\nOh! its never green
\nfor the animals are suffering
\nday in and day out
\nthey get short shift
\nfrom the public
\nand their souls are
\nlost, no doubt<\/p>\n
There is Frelatin
\nfrom apple seeds
\nand agar from seaweed
\nand kudzu from Wisteria
\nthat also grows, and indeed
\nthrough the ignorance of an American
\nwho saw it in Japan
\nand took it back to the fertile Plains
\nwhere it didn’t grow to plan
\nit bit into foundations
\nthrough peoples homes it grew
\nup through free ways
\nup through side walks
\nno one wanted to
\nsee it in their gardens
\nthey forgot its healing power
\nas it cracked the concrete viaducts
\nand climbed up many a tower <\/p>\n
so gelatine was easy
\nanimals expendable
\nkill the buggers no one sees it
\nits all behind, closed doors
\ndrag their innards out of them
\ncall it gelatine
\nput it in kid’s confectionery
\nfor years that’s where its been
\nhow sick we are
\nhow ignorant
\nallowing industry
\nto fill our kids with all this shit
\nthe kids we love
\nthey be
\nfed on this sick material
\nthe corporates, and they
\nare richer than you will ever be
\nshowing our kids the way
\nadvertising all these sweets
\nand telling mums how good
\nand of course as treats
\nthey are buying them
\nbecause they are told they should
\nGelatine is a cheap and nasty product
\nthe animals should really be alive
\nnot slaughtered in dire circumstances
\nsadly,
\nWhy can’t we let these poor sweet souls survive
\nthey do not want to die
