A heavy sky
\nof rolling blue
\nwith hints of dark duress
\nshadows on the TaiJi cove
\nwhose waves
\npick up the stress
\nresentment fills
\nthe foreground
\nas silhouette’s emerge
\nfrom hours of gloom
\nand reality
\nis clearly on the verge<\/p>\n
Cove Guardian’s, hearts pumping
\nthe nets are ready too
\nthe fishermen are tentative
\nPolice and Coastguards view
\nDawn and feel the awakening
\nand the haunting cries that do
\naccompany the morning, tinged
\nwith blood and guts anew
\nDeath raises his sickle
\nand soon brimstone and fire
\nwill enter this sad haven
\nwhere sticken souls in dire
\nstraits begin their trip to Hell
\nas machete’s cut their skin
\nand throw them into turmoil

the brine
\nin which they shelter
