Is it a force of argument
\nOr lateral thought
\nAlways at the beginning
\nThere were women they were sought
\nTheir life force took them closer
\nTo the egg and to the soul
\nThey had the power of wisdom

There was nothing random
\nThe assumption for me
\nWas they controlled the process
\nOf creation they were key
\nThey had instinctive knowledge
\nAnd intuitiveness to gain
\nA sixth sense and a whole lot more
\nA viable refrain
\nThey had seen it all before
\nWere witnesses and thus were sure
\nWithin them undeniably
\nA new life grew and had to be<\/p>\n
Protected really at all cost
\nWhilst life went on with stresses tossed
\nThe uncertainties and the treachery
\nAnd the changeability
\nThrough all of this a women shone
\nRevealing and healing
\nWithin and on
\nShe had conviction and implicit belief
\nHer place of honour and true relief<\/p>\n
Women as healers as priests maybe
\nAs teachers of men propitiously
\nThey had the power wrapped up in a smile
\nAble in fact to reconcile
\nTo manage and teach to prove and show
\nThe masculine student what they know
\nOn the basic level all in the head
\nBut retaining the heart
\nWhich I feel has led
\nTo what we really see today
\nPatriarchy on display
\nIts about levels and instinctive power
\nDeductive reasoning on the hour
\nESP and inspiration
\nTelepathy its their salvation<\/p>\n
So for me it comes as no surprise
\nWhy would they have sought disguise
\nPainters mostly were men so they
\nWould follow instructions would just obey
\nWomen would Work from deep within
\nFrom the occult folklore and would win
\nThe inner battles they were aware
\nAnd worked their magic everywhere<\/p>\n
Its not within the masculine sphere
\nForesight overcome by fear
\nNever prophetic in the same way
\nAnd were out of it I am forced to say
\nCovered in glory and regalia they
\nBecame soothsayers of the day
\nBut reality proves
\nA stronger desire
\nFor the female form
