What you might not know about them
\nIs they
\nHave a clear hierarchy
\nAnd so its a way
\nOf true understanding
\nAmong them to how
\nThey each live their lives
\nAnd Whether they row<\/p>\n
The biggest the heaviest
\nWho ever thAt be
\nIs the kingpin the boss
\nThe rest history
\nHe eats what ever is the best
\nAround
\nAnd mates with the ladies
\nAnd pound for pound<\/p>\n
Size makes the difference
\nAnd the others all know
\nIf they try it on with him
\nThey have to go
\nAnd if other try
\nMating with one of his flames
\nThey will be slaughtered
\nHe doesnt play games<\/p>\n
The smaller males can hunt
\nFor how would they grow
\nBut if the big male sees the kill
\nHe might show
\nHe might take the food
\nFor he is the king
\nAnd he decides about everything<\/p>\n
All up the river banks
\nThats how it goes
\nThere is demarkation
\nAnd everyone knows
\nIn the dry season
\nThe drains and the pools
\nThey dry up completely
\nSo the river cools<\/p>\n
Thats where they all go
\nHIPPO’s as well
\nAnd all the local animals
\nIn the dry spell<\/p>\n
So the gangs are on form
\nThats the crocodiles who
\nCompete with the Lions
\nWho know what to do
\nFUKU And Wildebeest
\nThey cheifly tend
\nTo be wanting a drink
\nAnd some time will spend<\/p>\n
They have to be careful
\nFor the crocs lie in wait
\nAs do the Lion prides
\nWho are never late
\nTo a kill when it happens
\nFor they tend to be
\nUp front and involved
\nAs to what we can see<\/p>\n
A croc under the water
\nCan be there for two hours
\nHidden and motionless
\nWith strident powers
\nRead to leap extraordinarily fast
\nIt all about timing
\nAnd how the die’s cast<\/p>\n
The prey can be thirsty
\nWith few pools around
\nOn the river where water is found
\nBut there in the river the croc
\nDo abound<\/p>\n
Also there are Hippo’s
\nGreat bruising souls
\nA croc keeps his diatance
\nThey have differing roles
\nThe Hippo is veggie
\nBut immensely strong
\nAnd will tell the croc if he doesnt belong<\/p>\n
Croc are not cold blooded
\nBut do like to graze
\nIn the sun it is fun
\nThats why they laze
\nAbout meditating
\nAnd looking for prey
\nWith in the dry season
\nWill visit each day<\/p>\n
As the river dries up
\nThe crocs and the birds
\nWill work together
\nThey work in herds
\nSo crocs and birds
\nCan partake of the fish
\nThese strong relationships
\nWork on a wish<\/p>\n
Water is life
\nAs of course we all know
\nThose animals who die
\nAnd some do you know
\nAre eaten by crocodiles
\nThe king will come
\nAnd do his death roll
\nAnd hear his heart drum<\/p>\n
Crocs swim about 10 km per hour
\nThe deer a bit faster
\nCrocs acidic shower
\nIs the most pitent force of all animals they
\nCan literally digest the bones
\nRight away<\/p>\n
They will ambush the animals
\nOr find them dead
\nReally they dont mind
\nThey are energy led
\nSo if they can find something
\nIts better they
\nFind it and eat it
