Apparently there is a relationship
\nBetween some government ministers and those
\nPossibly bankers and industrialists
\nWhose urge to go hunting still grows
\nThe trophies the canned hunting business
\nIts corporate squalor gone mad
\nAnd importing trophies to display on their wall
\nIs altogether quite sad<\/p>\n
Blood sports attract the well to do
\nSo theres pressure on government
\nFor many are true to themselves in this quest
\nTo slaughter and kill
\nWild birds and foxes
\nAnd wild rabbits too
\nThe royals they are at it
\nCruelty reigns
\nIt appears on their menu’s
\nSo many chains<\/p>\n
Of thought and of action
\nStick in their craw
\nCanned hunting africa
\nWho does ignore
\nAnd very nice bounty
\nBig game can be
\nDelivered provided its paid for
\nFor thee<\/p>\n
LIons are the kingpin
\nAnd South Africa can
\nPut on a show for political man
\nWho won’t make the time
\nTo go stalking but will
\nBag a white lion to just get that thrill<\/p>\n
They have money to burn
\nAnd a canned hunting team
\nCan lay it all on
\nAnd make someones dream
\nCome true
\nThe intensity
\nA stepping stone to get what they want

Like minds are at it
\nThe successful ones
\nThey dont need any gear
\nThey supply the guns
\nA professional hunter
\nWill be by their side
\nHolding their hand

Its a cruel nasty business
\nUnnatural as hell
\nBut it brings in big margins
\nAnd compensates well
\nThose parties who know
\nIts low life who farm
\nIts criminality and it does harm<\/p>\n
The animals suffer
\nIn innumerable
\nways
\nDrugging, teeth pulling
\nEverything pays
\nFor the export of bones
\nTo the far east now where
\nMore exploitation occurs
\nits unfAir<\/p>\n
Apparently the government
\nYes really they
\nAre in the thick of it
\nSo i hear say
\nCircus and wild animAls
\nHunting as well
\nThey seem to be into all of this
\nHell<\/p>\n
So tying to talk them around
\nDoes Seem to be
\nAt the very least an Absurdity
\nTheir lifestyles are rich
\nAnd designer attire
\nA cut above us with so much more fire<\/p>\n
They hold high positions
\nWith very good pay
\nFroficient at what they do
\neveryday
\nIn defiance of some
\nThey will do more and more
\nThe success and their conquest
\nIs what its all for<\/p>\n
They have the authority
\nAnd the whip hand
\nThey can get the time off
\nAnd they do understand
\nHow to behave and how to invite
\nThemselves everywhere
\nWhether a day or at night<\/p>\n
Its the toffs who do hunting
\nThe toffs who like game
\nIts what you know
\nIts who knows what you know
\nWhose arse you kiss
\nAnd if your in the flow
\nOr taking the piss<\/p>\n
The EU is up there
\nThey all like to hunt
\nIts sort of like golf
\nThey pay for the stunt
\nThe exhilarAtion of bringing it on
\nAnd old Lion with a mane
\nOr a buffalo gone<\/p>\n
And all of the paperwork

\nAs good hunters do

\nHard to ban trophies

How can you get to them

\nThey have been into killing
\nSouls from the wild
\nThey see that as comeliness

\nWho really wins
\nAnd who really pays
