The freedom that flight gives you
\nWhen we recall
\nOur great mother gave some
\nThe right to not fall
\nBut to fly and to soar
\nTo be forever free
\nWild birds thats their mandate
\nFor eternity<\/p>\n
Huge corporations soulless they be
\nFar removed from nature
\nAnd humanity
\nThe revolve around money
\nThats their desire
\nAnd their workforce
\nOf robots
\nAre born of that fire<\/p>\n
Great lakes of acidity
\nOf low level waste
\nStretch out across lands
\nWhere once wild ways graced
\nAnd wetlands bring life forces
\nFrom far away
\nLike geese who may rest
\nWithout having to pay<\/p>\n
Mine workings radio active
\nCreation
\nStretches the buman mind
\nBut not our salvation
\nVast toxic sputum concoted by
\nThe corporate evil
\nThat must ask themselves why<\/p>\n
And people who know of these places
\nFor they
\nAre many and varied in our world today
\nVile manifestations of dangerous consent
\nWaiting to maim those from heaven sent<\/p>\n
And this is what happened
\nIn Montana where they
\nAll of these snow geese
\nWanted to stay
\nOn metal laden water
\nAnd there they did die
\n700 acres of birds from on high<\/p>\n
What price one birds life
\nMultiplied by them all
\nBuild that into the costings
\nOn what people do
\nMOntana Resources apparently tried
\nTo save some but sadly
\nNAture has denied<\/p>\n
What we should be doing
\nIs trying to see
\nTo feel for the creatures around us
\nAnd be
\nAware of their needs
\nNot create lakes of death
\nIts a fait accompli
\nYour life and your breath<\/p>\n
Pipelines and fracking
\nAnd tar sands and more
\nWith Natural resources
\nWe all are at war
\nThe birds and the bees
\nAnd so many souls they
\nAre losing their lives
\nOn any given day<\/p>\n
And it all has to happen
\nIts what we are about
\nCorporate profits
\nThe concretion of doubt
\nThey control governments
\nAs such they break rules
\nArrogance heightens
\nAnd we know the ghouls
\nAre raising their margins
\nAnd reducing the cost
\nAnd all this is hidden
