Yesterdays accomplishment of Taiji
\nTRophy Hunters
\nWas to catch a pod of Pilot Whales
\nAnd trap them overnight
\nMothers with their babies
\nWith older sons and daughters
\nLeft to thinking whether being brought
\nashore was right<\/p>\n
The chaos and the trauma
\nOf the banging boats
\nWas evident
\nCountermanding all their skills
\nAnd giving them little chance
\nDespite their wide experience
\nThe plot was clearly lost for them
\nDeath and its finality
\nHad left them in a trance<\/p>\n
Imagine how a mother seeing
\nher baby taken in a boat
\nAnd as her eyes perceive
\nThat
\nShe is killed
\nthe babies now so traumatised
\nThey realise their mother
\nThey will not ever see her
\nThey swam in the blood she spilled<\/p>\n
And they are being dumped
\nBecause they are too small
\nIt takes a peculiar intellect
\nTo actually Go and do this
\nFor the babies really have
\nNo chance at all<\/p>\n
Its impossible to survive
\nWithout their mother
\nfor no one will protect them
\nAnywhere
\nA mother died in agony
\nKnowing that her child
\nWould die a very unnatural death
\nOut there in the wild<\/p>\n
Gobbled up by a shark for sure
\nAnd these miracles that We
\nWitness and then write about
\nmakes me hate Taiji<\/p>\n
For their total lack of understsnding
\nIts lamentable to know
\nWhere was their equilibrium
\nSo far out of the flow
\nOr are they so impassive
\nAnd honestly do not care
\nOr Do they think they are saving them
