December’s sun sweeps up the grass
\nIt does stun
\nEvery hue every pigment
\nAnd what has it done
\nTo eyes that can see and imagine below
\nIts great orb of gold and its Snow white halo
\nWhich Spreads down the hill
\nIn its wish to invite
\nArtists and poets and birds on the wing
\nTo share in its blossoming spirit and bring
\nGreat lumps of clouds whose edges are white
\nFloat in magnificent blue seas
\nA bite
\nOf winter, encapsulates gardens galore
\nThe barest of branches the golden
\nAdore
\nthe light
\nLeaves soon to become
\nLeaf mold rich hummus
\nAnd boy
\nwe need some!
\nBerries of crimson dance in the breeze
\nOut yonder huddled together the trees
\nForming an inner warmth taking the bite
\nOut of the sails of Winter tonight<\/p>\n
