Lying in a drain
\nA baby alone
\nWhere is its mother
\nIts future thrown
\nTo the winds of the time
\nLords far far Way
\nIts fighting for breath
\nIn a most futile way<\/p>\n
The chickens
\nThe worst for wear
\nBruised and unkempt
\nClearly manhandled
\nTreated with contempt
\nWhere are the home truths
\nWhat do we do
\nWhy are these victims
\nLooking at you<\/p>\n
Clearly in agony
\nClearly so shocked
\nBroken wings all it brings
\nIs we half cocked
\nStill want our chicken
\nBreaded with spice
\nLook into their eyes
\nAnd plump for some rice<\/p>\n
A calf lays so still
\nOn a dirty wet floor
\nKidnapped he was
\nAnd still we ignore
\nHis frantic pleadings
\nWe want his veal
\nHe is so weak
\nBut has massive appeal<\/p>\n
Great heals of Tuna
\nGaffes till they bleed
\nGasping for air
\nThey cannit succeed
\nWeighted down crushed
\nIn the melee for life
\nWe have no compassion
\nJust oodles of strife<\/p>\n
Pigs in small cages
\nBiting their bars
\nClearly stressed out
\nThey cant see the stars
\nThe sky ir the sun
\nAll they see
\nIs their end
\nLook at them hoping that
\nYou are their friend<\/p>\n
More chickens legs broken
\nWings broken too
\nFrom all the manhandling
\nThat chickens go through
\nWhy men the handlers
\nTreat them so rough
\nLufe for a chicken
\nIs terribly tough<\/p>\n
More fish its crazy the oceans
\nFrom where
\nAll these fish cone from
\nGreat pools od despair
\nBloodied and broken
\nAnd smothered in ice
\nAnd left to suffocate
\nHow is that nice?<\/p>\n
Animals lives
\nMean a great
\nWhy are we certain
\nThat they are our meal
\nThe torment the torture
\nThe evil of man
\nWhen truthfully really
\nWe should be a fan<\/p>\n
For they are the innocent
\nThey love life too
\nBut we are consigning them
\nAll their lives through
\nTo lack of attention
\nAnd to lack of care
\nAnd a horrible death
\nSo hiw can that be fair<\/p>\n
