In the shadow
\nof the Totem
\na Dragon now lies coiled
\nwithin the firery embers
\nof a love that once
\nwas foiled
\na lover who had come along
\nand paralysed her soul
\nacting as an angel
\nbut a devil in that role
\ndispossessing and thus stressing
\nthe Dragon Goddess, who
\nglides in warm embraces
\nwith the fireflies in the dew
\nin a bout of desolation
\nshe almost lost her way
\nbut solemnly created
\nher escape plan and did pay
\na high price for her freedom
\nout of, adversity
\nand now she shines her light
\non those, who have also
\nbroken free
\nLife’s shackles
\nare demanding
\nand free spirits take it hard
\nthere is no rhyme or reason
\nbut the sally of a bard
\nmay hoist, the Dragon Goddess
\nto a higher energy
\nwhere solar butterflies do rest
\naround an Apple Tree
\nWhere healing does encompass
\na myriad of signs
\noils, waxes and incense
\nare where the sun
\nnow shines
\nits light, its positivity
\na sharing under way
\na lilac flame endearingly
\nrises with the day
\na healing proposition
\nrevealing a rare glow
\na true juxtaposition
