\nHorses are getting a raw deal
\nAnd the world cannot afford
\nThe pointlessness and illogical
\nTerror that I hear
\nIs happening to horses
\nWho are rootless and in fear<\/p>\n
RAcehorses that stop winning
\nOr have never won a race
\nThey are the prime victims
\nIt is such a disgrace
\nAnd is going on regardless
\nAnd it seems so few folk know
\nOf the extreme cruelty
\nThat apparently does grow<\/p>\n
Canada is guilty of infamous desire
\nTo profit from these animals
\nAnd many do conspire
\nTo be as cruel as they can be
\nTo torture all the way
\nAnd dupe the export markets
\nInto thinking that they pay<\/p>\n
For regulated slaughter
\nAnd non administration
\nOf lethal drugs but honestly
\nThey omit the vile conflation
\nOf interests down to profiteering
\nWhilst the animals suffer so
\nHorses these are horses
\nWho are loyal souls as we know<\/p>\n
Infused with medication
\nMuch of it is banned
\nIn the EU but the paperwork
\nIt all is being scanned
\nAnd altered and so no one knows
\nThe extent of evil here
\nHow these horses suffer
\nAnd how these horses fear<\/p>\n
Kept in filthy conditions
\nTransported for hours on end
\nNo food no water nothing
\nOn humans they depend
\nBut when they are a commodity
\nWhich basically they are
\nNormal decent loving care
\nIs a cost factor to mar
\nThe markup and the margin
\nSo the exporter will say
\nIf s few die on the truck
\nWho cares and then just walk

These animals are suffering
\nThey get injured in the trucks
\nWounded really badly
\nThey are saving a few bucks
\nAnd neglecting to take care
\nThese are living feeling souls
\nNot boxes of plastic crap
\nWe owe it to each other
\nTo not get in a flap

\nSafeguard the horses
\nAnd be kind
\nCAnada needs a bloody good

The problem for the universe

\nThe horses go through absolute hell
\nAnd all of you should know<\/p>\n
Its nothing to do with the japanese or chinese
\nIts Canadians and they
\nHave to be reported
\nThey cannot get their way
\nAnd if they are shipped to Mexico
\nThan its even worse
\nThey have stand up for hours and hours
\nIt truthfully is a curse<\/p>\n
Banned chemicals are routinely given
\nBut the paper work wont say
\nSo consumers of horse in the EU
\nAre eating this shit today
\nCarcinogenic substances but the lousy EU
\nDoesnt stop to check them
\nTo see that the paperwork is true<\/p>\n
The USA and Canada are a bunch
\nOf unkind souls
\nAnd racehorses and dressage
\nWhere are the controls
\nGambling is an industry
\nAnd welfare seems to me
\nIs it rated in their agenda

Not looked after animals
\nTransported near and far
\nMurdered in cold blood alas
\nTheir spirits how

I really hope consumers
\nAre made sick for why they
\nAre knowingly eating horsemeat

\nClearly their retailers
\nAre not up to the job
\nOf ensuring that the meat is safe
\nAnd that does make me sob<\/p>\n
Sob because a lot are making lots

\nThey all drive their range rovers
