A lady at the window
\nAdmiringly her gaze
\nOutwards through the curtains
\nTo the rain that plays
\nIts sweet refrain of nature
\nMusic to her ears
\nThe pitter pat for where she is at
\nClearly its angels tears<\/p>\n
She contemplates the tree
\nShe planted struggling out there
\nIts been through several winters
\nAnd its beauty it does share
\nAnd now the winds gone crazy
\nSo the lady looks concerned
\nAs the rain gets really heavier still
\nAnd the branches some have turned
\nThis way that way every way
\nThe lady though has learned<\/p>\n
That trees do have amazing inner strength
\nAnd are built to last and grow
\nThey send their long roots searching
\nDownwards joining with the flow
\nOf other tree roots for they be
\nFriends,their networking
\nAnd can Manage in all weathers
\nFor together they do bring<\/p>\n
An oxygenated aura
\nFor humans who do care
\nAnd She can feel them giving back
\nAnd thus is more aware
\nThan most now of the inclemency
\nAnd its inclination too
\nSoftens the ground around the roots
\nWhere flowers of every hue<\/p>\n
Dance around at Spring time
\nCasting her mind Back to
\nWhen the sylphs and dryads danced their jigs
\nSometimes in full view
\nIn the moon light They did venture out
\nWhere flibbertigibbets fly
\nAnd beautiful orbs bring natural light
\nTo an ectoplasmic sky<\/p>\n
