Any sentient being
\nHas the ability to know
\nWhen somebody cares for them
\nIs responsible and does show
\nThem respect and give them food
\nAnd talk to them they know
\nIt is rare that they would bite the hand
\nThat feeds them and helps them grow<\/p>\n
They recognize a friendly face
\nThey have the capacity
\nAnd they are so discerning
\nIts their acuity
\nThey see and they all realise
\nThose friending them and they
\nWould always choose to protect them
\nThan harm them any way<\/p>\n
As for bulls and fighting
\nAnd running in the street
\nHaving all been tortured and doctored
\nThe deceit
\nOf all these spanish cities
\nOf all these bullfighting towns
\nThe cruelty is evident
\nThe bull all of them drowns
\nIn their own blood and suffering
\nStuck and stuffed like hell
\nAgain the poor old horses
\nThey also have to gel
\nAnimals get beaten get stabbed
\nAnd shocked and hurt
\nAnd of course they will try to fight back
\nWhen they feel inert
\nWithin their hearts they only wish
\nFor peace and quiet for they
\nAre amazing animals
\nWho pass the time of day
\nRetreating into spirit
\nRumination means
\nthe ability to digest the grass
\nTruthfully it leans
\nInto regurgitation
\nThe cud needs so much thought
\nFighting is inviting
\nIt never is a sport<\/p>\n
It never is a culture
\nIts cruelty right through
\nAnd matadors get gored thank god
\nFor its what the bull must do
\nHas to try and protect itself
\nBut would be prepared to run
\nJust get out of that bloody ring
