What is that state of consciousness
\nAnd the mannishment of sin
\nThe moral sensibility
\nFor me is wearing thin
\nImpressionable behaviour
\nAn indifference in this world
\nInsentient a trance like state
\nIn which children are hurled<\/p>\n
It is indeed a maelsrom
\nAn arranged adversity
\nImagine bringing an infant
\nInto this psychopathy
\nThis cerebral digression
\nThe unthinking attitude
\nThe imageless conception
\nOf How the mind is viewed<\/p>\n
Ahead of our normality
\nOf pondering and care
\nOf the purest deliberation
\nAnd contemplation there
\nThe mindlessness of people
\nTheir thoughtlessness abounds
\nIt is inconceivable
\nBut apparently there are grounds<\/p>\n
For believing it is commonplace
\nAt close quarters where abuse
\nIs evident we read about it
\nWhere parents are so obtuse
\nAnd they become irrational
\nIn what life is about
\nReally apathetic
\nUninvolved and so in doubt<\/p>\n
Its a complete detachment
\nSo unprepared are they
\nImagine an infant entering
\nThis kind of affray
\nPerhaps a dominant father
\nAn abuser of his realm
\nHe acts out as a master
\nWho stands guard at the helm<\/p>\n
The mother could be worn down
\nBy the vagaries of male
\nWho thus becomes unguarded
\nAs such begins to fail
\nAll here real responsibilities
\nTowards her child
\nAnd watches by default in fact
\nAnd a man who just is wild<\/p>\n
If a child has caused this madness
\nA crying infant might
\nUnlock the wilful ugliness
\nSuch superficial spite
\nSuch naivete abd blankness
\nUnteachable maybe
\nAn obscurantist in themselves
\nSo bookless they can’t see<\/p>\n
Deranged and uncontrollable
\nSuch anger from within
\nUncreative in their thinking
\nThey are really feeling spin
\nThey have developed a delerium
\nUnexpressive in many ways
\nUncandid and evasive
\nAnd delusion really plays<\/p>\n
Out they may be able to disguise
\nThe way they feel
\nOn the pretence their evasion from it
\nIs so very real
\nThough reticent and tight lipped
\nSo they cannot reveal
\nA willingness to offer
\nA resolute display
\nOf constancy about the home
\nOn any given day<\/p>\n
And perhaps a submissive female
\nCompromising all the time
\nReally unheroic
\nUnable to climb
\nBack into reality
\nIs motiveless for she
\nIs rejected and discarded
\nBy her partners infamy<\/p>\n
Into this bubbling hotpot
\nAn infant finds its way
\nEverything is unrehearsed
\nAnd improvised lets say
\nThe inadequacy of training
\nAnd anger clearly there
\nFrustration about this or that
\nAnd no one that aware<\/p>\n
An infants needs are many
\nFood warmth love and care
\nIts thought how does it get
\nIts point across so as to share
\nIts need it could be uncomfortable
\nPossible very sore
\nOr actually overheatung in some way
\nIts needs are raw<\/p>\n
It cries and cries
\nAnd tbis just might
\nCreate a spark somewhere
\nIn the tinder box
\nOf frustration
\nThat may be sitting there
\nUnarmoured and unprotected
\nTo the menace around about
\nNo one saw the warning signs
\nOr could stop the lout<\/p>\n
Who clumsily lifted the baby
\nAnd shook it much too hard
\nAnd threw it back into its cot
\nIn defiance really scarred
\nThe psyxhe of that infant
\nWho of course then cried again
\nAnd was then subjected to such an attack
\nFor by then he became insane<\/p>\n
Thrust his fingers down the infants
\nThroat imagining he
\nCould stop the baby crying
\nAnd do it instantly
\nThe baby clearly badly hurt
\nNeeded instant care
\nA 911 call then was made
\nAnd the authority was there<\/p>\n
The injuries are terrible
\nThe baby may not pull through
\nTrying to communicate
\nIt ended and the view
\nA monster was apparent
\nAnd had been inside that man
\nAll though his life
\nUp till that point
\nAnd thats how it did pan<\/p>\n
Out in this terrible attack
\nOn his own shared child
\nHis mental and spiritual makeup
\nSomehow he defiled
\nClearly his indifference
\nAnd his loveless point of view
\nHis resentment for his position
\nAnd his vindictiveness all through<\/p>\n
The child is going to probably die
\nThe charge will then be laid
\nFor whatever reasons lives are lost
\nAll this drama played
\nout in real life everywhere
\nThe odious lament and the action of despair
\nReally if there are answers
\nTo date they seem to be
\nDifficult to quantify
\nAnd in effect to see<\/p>\n
The tragedy of cases
\nLike this just brings to mind
\nHow innocence is compromised
\nAnd apparently how blind
\nAre many to this evil
\nThat exists and clearly shows
\nSo it should have been identified
\nFrom the danger it did pose<\/p>\n
But nobody came forward
\nA lot would have turned away
\nIts really not my business
\nThats what some would say
\nAnd the evil thus grows faster
\nAnd the bully he grows too
\nMore audacious and more wilful
\nMore arrogant all through<\/p>\n
He’s a boil waiting to suppurate
\nTo sxpel the pus within
\nHis anger and frustration
\nAnd craven spirited sin
\nFuels the dark emotion
\nAnd with explosive force we see
\nHis monstrous evolution
