A magnificent Elk
\nMinding his own business
\nWas shot by some balf wit
\nWho imagined that He
\nHad been put on gods earth
\nTo assassinate animals
\nHe loaded the carcass
\nOnto his, ATV<\/p>\n
Driving up a steep slope
\nThe whole thing tipped over
\nAnd he was thrown out
\nAnd on the antlers impaled
\nUp jumped Mr Karma
\nWho was no self harmer
\nAnd sought to remind him
\nNow how he had failed<\/p>\n
To live up to his haughtiness
\nAnd His arrogant stature
\nHow he was bleeding out
\nAnd in such pain
\nWhat he inflicts on many
\nSweet animals
\nWas now his fortune
\nWas now his gain<\/p>\n
Tragically some of his mates
\nRang emergency
\nAnd he was saved from a fate
\nWorse than death
\nThat manificent Elk
\nHad got his own back
\nAnd this ruddy insult
\nWas fighting for breath<\/p>\n
Too many animals
\nGet the attention
\nOf too many hunters
\nWhose aim is real poor
\nAnd animals die after hours
\nOf such torture
\nAnd these ruddy red necks
\nAll that they ignore<\/p>\n
So its happy I am
\nThat this fool took a beating
\nHe will live to tell
\nThe tale though I feel
\nIt might just make him think
\nWhen killing at his age
\nIf there is a next time
\nHe will get the right deal<\/p>\n
No friends around
\nAnd die in the forest
\nPreferably eaten
\nBy a nice fat old bear
\nSo at least he was useful
\nWas somebodys supper
\nDespite a scarred back
