The chainsaws
\ncreate fire and brimstone
\nvile, and enormous sound
\ncutting through the
\nmature trees
\nwho crash down to the
\nground<\/p>\n
dispatching our great
\nfriends the
\nRed Ape, the Orangutan
\nand the myriad of other
\ncreatures
\nwho then are
\nforced to plan<\/p>\n
another fast departure
\nfrom their home
\nwithin the tree
\nthat’s coming down
\nthat’s sobbing
\nthis vile iniquity<\/p>\n
wasted now before
\nour eyes,
\ndestruction
\nat its worst
\nI cry myself to sleep
\nat night
\nbelieving
\nthat we’re cursed<\/p>\n
by morons
\nwho see nothing
\nbut the
\ndollars in their bank
\nsuch mindless individuals
\nwhose thoughts
\nand breath is rank<\/p>\n
Corporate brainwashing
\nhas dulled their
\ntiny mind
\nand they cut
\ndown the forests
\nin a frenzy
\nunderlined<\/p>\n
its evil and
\nits stupid
\nto cut down all
\nthese trees
\nthat safeguard
\nsoil erosion
\nand their flowers
\nattract the Bee’s<\/p>\n
all manner of sweet
\ncreative lives
\ndie up there
\nand 1o minutes
\nwith a chainsaw
\nleads to such despair<\/p>\n
hacking off the branches
\nripping the whole heart
\nout of God’s own garden
\nthe terrifying part
\nof seeing sterile areas
\nplanted with oil palm
\nin corporate profiteering
\ncausing so much harm<\/p>\n
to every living creature
\nand, the whole Planet too
\nshooting themselves in the foot
\nthat is what they do
\nthe red ape needs
\nprotection
\nits worth its weight
\nin gold
\nwhich is more
\nthan can be said
\nfor chainsaw
\nsods that hold<\/p>\n
no sway, with humanity
\nfor clearly what they do
\nis cause
\ngreat disappointment
\nand suffering
\nall through
\nwe must now
\nstem this evil
\nThis corporate embrace
\nthey are
\nblood sucking vampires
