The fairness of the human cry
\nAbove all else to me
\nThat smell of hunter interference
\nResonates to free
\nAll the plangent ringing
\nBrazen shrieks and The odd moan
\nThe discord in that moment
\nOf just being alone
\nA source of light before me
\nAnd the cathedral all of stone<\/p>\n
Of luminous persuasion
\nA curiosity
\nTo climb those steps of heaven
\nAnd be forever free
\nA reindeer must examine
\nThe risks of wanting to
\nFind some answers for the thoughts
\nThat seem to now come through<\/p>\n
The confidence of knowing
\nThe expectation too
\nThe sentiment of suggestion
\nAnd what all this does do
\nThe great doors they were open
\nAnd so I walked inside
\nA smell of incense followed
\nExpectantly I tried<\/p>\n
The steps up to the altar
\nWhere the light was extra bright
\nWhere candlesticks were burning
\nWith an aura of white light
\nEscaping to this boundless place
\nJust seemed so unreal
\nAs to a meaning there is none
\nNothing to reveal<\/p>\n
Sculptures and engraving
\nPictures everywhere
\nJust elegance and clarity
\nFor anyone to share
\nAnd share I did
\nFor outside I heard the hunters cry
\npassing in their truck
\nClearly they were on my case
\nBut had run out of luck<\/p>\n
The cathedral was my saving grace
\nThey wouldn’t come in here
\nAnd all the while I looked around
\nTo me it was very clear
\nThis was a place that even they
\nRespected and wouldn’t think
\nThe prey that they were after
\nHad also seen the link<\/p>\n
Between death and salvation
\nThe hunters don’t have a clue
\nAnd when I thought they were miles away
\nI left to join my crew
\nBack in the dark forest
\nWhere the witches and the owls
\nCongregate and work their spells
\nIn great cavernous bowels
\nTHat run under the forest
\nIn the cave system where we
\nThe animals and others
