With a lack of culpability
\nPerhaps a sick delinquency
\nToo young to see a sinfulness
\nThe heinous inexcusable stress
\nPlaced on wild birds
\nTrapped in this way
\nTo face a death
\nThat who can say
\nWas wickedness was iniquity
\nOr Degeneration for all to see<\/p>\n
Parental possibly a shamelessness
\nTransgressing into more is less
\nA baseless on a global scale
\nThe good for nothing that really pale
\nInto a significance in their eyes
\nRascality up in the skies<\/p>\n
Let’s think aloud of those
\nWild souls who
\nAre captured and tied yes tied into
\nA firework and it’s lit and they
\nExplode with force on any day<\/p>\n
They die such fright such woeful strife
\nWhat a way to end ones life
\nA rocket takes you far and high
\nAnd there alas you are forced to die
\nFor some sick joke
\nSome Chinese child
\nAn interlude both brief and wild<\/p>\n
A betrayal really of what was good
\nThe disrespect they misunderstood
\nThe need for life and for freedom to
\nDo what they were put here to do
\nNo parameters anymore
\nThe computer age
\nSees things galore
\nZombies blown up every day
\nSo wild birds make a good display<\/p>\n
Misfeasance yes it’s very wrong
\nIn many ways they don’t belong
\nIn this world where we all can share
\nThe natural world and really care
\nIt’s an artificial reasoning
\nIt’s a loathing for the norm
\nWe are brainwashing our children
\nFor the impending storm<\/p>\n
Fireworks tied to sparrows legs
\nLaunched into the sky
\nWhat is the world coming to
\nWhen it’s joyful to watch souls die<\/p>\n
I cannot even contemplate
\nThe pickling of souls
\nWhen youth is rampant and demands
\nTo take over controls
\nTo slaughter and to hunt game
\nTo torture birds at will
\nTo punch each other’s lights out
\nAnd perhaps when asked to kill<\/p>\n

\nIt’s hellishly upsetting that children work this torture through their psyche and it will stay with them to be recounted later on
\nAs for the poor wild birds I have no answer for them
\nThey will ask themselves possibly why them
\nOne can only write now one feels
\nIt took me to another place however to think this through
