Can you feel the energy
\nWhose hand do you now feel
\nIs it warm or cold as ice
\nTell me is it real?<\/p>\n
Is it someone’s ancestor
\nCalled back through the veil
\nLooking out to Chipping Norton
\nLook at her is she pale<\/p>\n
The head torch it will show you
\nHer countenance divine
\nAnd is she standing with you
\nSharing the mead wine<\/p>\n
Was she truly visible
\nOr only in your thought
\nWhat were her characteristics
\nDid they make you overwrought<\/p>\n
We share this Samhain circle
\nWith great spirits of before
\nWho had their authenticity
\nAnd have come in through our door<\/p>\n
Our shared breath rises slowly
\nTo the clouds we cannot see
\nAnd inside this wondrous circle
\nOur noble constancy<\/p>\n
Below our feet the hallowed ground
\nAround the stalwart stones
\nAnd all of us together
\nHeld up on Snow White bones<\/p>\n
The channels now are opening
\nThat connection can you feel
\nThe lights of comprehension
\nWhat do they reveal<\/p>\n
An ensemble of pure voices
\nInclusive and as one
\nMindful of our situation
\nNow the day is done<\/p>\n
Around us are the sentinels
\nThe vanishing trees that glare
\nAnd on them are the Owls whose eyes
\nAre looking everywhere<\/p>\n
This is our culmination
\nOur solidarity
\nOur replenishment which is everything
\nAs the fire burns bright we see<\/p>\n
The spirits in the darkness
\nThe veil it shudders so
\nIt’s the end of the beginning
\nAnd all of us can grow<\/p>\n
Into our continuity
\nUnbroken we shall fly
\nholding hands forever
\nUp into the sky<\/p>\n
Our circle and our gathering
\nOur eisteddfod in a way
\nWe assemble in this aura
\nOf ROLLRIGHTS On this day<\/p>\n
SAmhain is upon us
\nA time when we can feel
\nThe veil has duly opened
\nAnd what it does reveal<\/p>\n
Are the ancestors before us
\nWe welcome them and say
\nTogether welcome all of you
\nOn this the chosen day<\/p>\n
And into perpetuity
\nIt’s Upon this day that we
\nThose who leave the mortal plain
\nMay return again to see
\nTo hold a hand they recognize
\nAnd to take part as before
