\nLeaking
\nInto the sea<\/p>\n
The Pacific gets a dousing
\nAll that toxicity
\nThe Cesium the strontium
\nThe tritium all there
\nThe iodine and plutonium
\nIn the water in the air<\/p>\n
To have lived in Fukushima
\nOr even Tokyo
\nThe hot spots they are everywhere
\nEverywhere you go
\nThey do not smell
\nThey do not taste
\nInvisible they be
\nBut they are killing children
\nAnd if I lived there they would kill me<\/p>\n
But it’s not just in Japan alas
\nWith plutonium out there
\nOne pound of it would kill us all
\nIt drivs me to despair
\nThere is no one of stopping it
\nIt’s forever and a day
\nOnce it’s in the atmosphere
\nWe are doomed we all will pay<\/p>\n
What beats me is the science
\nAnd the technology
\nThe governments around the world
\nSo ignorant for me
\nThey cannot see the writing
\nOn the proverbial wall
\nNuclear is disastrous
\nEach accident does appal<\/p>\n
The clean up of the nuclear waste
\nThe risks are terribly high
\nWe clearly care not for the children
\nAnd their children but why?
\nDo we allow the governments we vote in
\nTo carry on
\nDown the road to disaster
\nWhere most of them have gone<\/p>\n
The cost will be enormous
\nUnfathominable in fact
\nAnd all of it is not insured
\nHow do we react?
\nThose people in Fukushima
\nThose men who gave their lives
\nJust fodder in a brand new war
\nWhere everybody strives<\/p>\n
To make ends meet but clearly
\nWhat we are seeing here
\nIs contaminated water
\nWith all its awesome fear
\nPouring into the ocean
\nEvery single day
\nKilling all the organisms
\nAll along the way<\/p>\n
And it’s reached into Canada
\nAnd the USA a millionth of an ounce
\nWill kill one person right away
\nAnd there is at least 1000 kilos
\nPossibly to fly
\nAnd if it does everyone on earth
\nIs going to die<\/p>\n
That risk that cost precludes us
\nEver saying nuclear power
\nIs and should be utilised
\nFor living by each hour
\nWho dares take the risk
\nWhen solar, and waves and water
\nIs out there and can be
\nUsed to give us what we need
\nCleaner energy<\/p>\n
To plump down onto nuclear
\nTells me that they need
\nTo depopulate this world of ours
\nThey wish to see us bleed
\nThat’s the actually message
\nThat’s coming through to me
\nAnd the creation of storms and tsunami’s
\nWhy is it we don’t see<\/p>\n
That writing clearly on the wall
\nAnd for children still we try
\nTo have and bring up clearly
\nWhen Many are going to die
\nWith cancer ratings higher
\nThis radiation cloud
\nClearly can be anywhere
\nWe are being over powered<\/p>\n
FUkushima was a risk too far
\nAnd many are dead and gone
\nAnd many more will suffer
\nTEPCO knows this really Out upon
\nThe land and ocean lied or failed
\nTo tell us all the facts
\nAnd now we find out just how bad it is
\nWho can relax?<\/p>\n
Basically we have had it
\nAnd there’s nothing doctors can do
\nMost of them will get it
\nClearly it is true
\nIt takes a while but the younger ones
\nAre going to have to see
\nThat many of them will develop
\nIt by at least 40<\/p>\n
And everyday it’s getting worse
\nAnd no one seems to care
\nOpen the window suck in
\nSome breaths of pure fresh air
\nWalk out in the falling rain
\nAnd with it comes the force
\nWe all are now bombarded
