\nTo match the nonchalance of many
\nThe one who plays piano
\nOn the station as some do
\nWatch the passers by some
\nDon’t even notice
\nOthers stand recording it
\nBut most seem clueless too<\/p>\n
The talent that’s on offer
\nTheir appreciations gone
\nPerhaps they never had it
\nThe light has never shone
\nIn their hearts never ever
\nDull souls lost for sure
\nCreative thought and energy
\nFor them it’s all a bore<\/p>\n
The gift and joy of genius
\nYou see it everywhere
\nBut the lovelessness and the insouciance
\nWith great dollops of despair
\nLike clouds they hover over us
\nUninterested they
\nI suppose are unambitious
\nAnd uninvolved today<\/p>\n
The apathy of some
\nWho have no wonder left to feel
\nThey are just servants of the state
\nThis listlessness they reveal
\nBy walking passed at great speed
\nNot going anywhere
