Lines of frantic donkeys
\nAt the roadside waiting
\nTheir turn,to be butchered on the spot
\nImagine that
\nWhat goes through their minds
\nSee them twitching feel the signs
\nOf nervousness and not knowing
\nWhere they are at<\/p>\n
They are innocence its obvious
\nThey have done no wrong
\nThe meat trade welcomes all though
\nAll animals belong
\nMeat eaters don’t you think it through
\nBy buying into this
\nDon’t you
\nBecome part of the crime itself
\nFor without you it wouldn’t be
\nInsanity assuages them from thinking
\nAll this through
\nAs long as they can buy it fresh thats all they
\nWant to do<\/p>\n
And all these lines of donkeys
\nWait their fate as they
\nMust shudder at the very thought
\nAnd wonder why they pay
\nSo high a price for their incarnation
\nIn this world of woe
\nSledgehammered on a roadside
\nBlatant and on show<\/p>\n
Their blood being collected in barrels
\nSo we dare
\nThink about creation and see the dark despair
\nThese butchers on the roadside

\nCan carry on this slaughtering

\nWhatever actually turns him on

Cry for all humanity
\nCrying for equine souls
\nWho find their incarnation

The absurdity the ineptitude

All animals care for each other

They feel pain of course they do
\nAnd to line them up and tie
\nThem together by the roadside
\nTo witness each as they die
\nFirst and second and realise
\nThey too will also be
\nMurdered at the fiadside
\nFor everyone to see<\/p>\n
And in such a wilful manner
\nA sledge hammer on their head
\nThat’s no expectation
\nWhen you are half dead
\nAt the hands of lunatics
\nPsychopaths maybe
\nOn a different level
\nFrom the banksters
\nWho still be<\/p>\n
Taking their blood money
\nEvery single day
\nThe police and legal people
\nWho look the other way
\nWhilst all this vile and darkly force
\nTakes out the meek and mild
\nWho have imagination
\nOn the level of your child<\/p>\n
Each donkey standing staring
\nIn the sun must know
\nHis head will get a battering soon
\nAnd he will have to go
\nTo a death of such destruction
\nSuch agony and pain
\nWatched by his surviving friends
\nEach suffering more strain<\/p>\n
CHina your long history
\nShould have taught you, you
\nHave a duty really
\nTo each other to be true
\nThese donkeys they have feelings
\nand what this shock must do
\nIs not only add to the karma bank
\nBut see all that’s overdue<\/p>\n
I so feel immense sorrow
\nFor all animals that we kill
\nBy the roadside in dark sheds
\nOr in abattoirs we spill
\nTheir blood now in great oceans
\nTo fill the guts of man
\nWhose karma banks are overdrawn
\nIn fact since time began<\/p>\n
